EMCOREs Fiber Optics segment offers optical components, subsystems and systems for high-speed data and telecommunications, cable television (CATV) and fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) networks as well as products for satellite communications, video transport and specialty photonics technologies for defense and homeland security applications. The Companys Photovoltaics segment provides products for space power applications, including multi-junction solar cells, coverglass interconnected cells, and complete satellite solar panels; and terrestrial applications, such as GaAs solar cells for concentration photovoltaic power systems.
