Large Outflow of Money Witnessed in VeriSign

VeriSign (VRSN) : Net money flow in VeriSign (VRSN) was negative ($25.64 million) and the inflow of money on uptick was $84.7 million, whereas, the outflow of money on downticks amounted to $110.34 million on Friday. The traders used every opportunity of price strength in the stock to sell their positions, hence, the total uptick to downtick ratio was 0.77. The block trades show that the large investors, were aggressive sellers in the stock. The total value of block trades on upticks was only $3.12 million. On the other hand, the total value of block trades done on downticks was $20.6 million. The ratio of uptick to downtick block trades was 0.15. The money flow in block trades was negative ($17.48). VeriSign (VRSN) gained $4.21 cent during the day and reached $79.02, a gain of 5.63% over the previous day.

In a related news, According to the information disclosed by the Securities and Exchange Commission in a Form 4 filing, the director of Verisign Inc/Ca, Tomlinson Timothy had sold 1,477 shares worth of $125,988 in a transaction dated August 2, 2016. In this transaction, 1,477 shares were sold at $85.3 per share.
