The OmniPod System consists of two devices that communicate wirelessly: the OmniPod, a small, lightweight, disposable insulin infusion device worn beneath clothing; and the PDM, a handheld device much like a personal digital assistant that wirelessly programs the OmniPod with insulin delivery instructions.
