Vanguard Short-Term Corporate Bond ETF (VCSH) : The money flow analysis of Vanguard Short-Term Corporate Bond ETF (VCSH) indicates a $13.84 million of outflow was on downticks, whereas, the investors on Friday gobbled up stocks worth $20.55 million on upticks. The ratio between the upticks and downticks was clearly in favor of the bulls at 1.48 and so was the total money flow at $6.71 million. The bulls lapped up $3.81 million worth of block trades on upticks. The money flow was $3.81 million in block trades, underlining the interest of the bulls in the stock even when the stock was declining.However, the price action shows that the bears had an upper hand in the stock of Vanguard Short-Term Corporate Bond ETF (VCSH), pushing it down by -0.01% for the day. The stock slid $0.01 and traded at $80.59 during the day. Nonetheless, the stock is -0.1% over the previous weeks close.


Vanguard Short Term Corporate Bond ETF (the Fund) seeks to track the performance of a market-weighted corporate bond index with a short-term, dollar-weighted average maturity. The Fund employs a passive management or indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of the Barclays Capital U.S. 1-5 Year Corporate Index (the Index). This Index includes the United States dollar-denominated, investment-grade, fixed-rate, taxable securities issued by industrial, utility and financial companies, with maturities between 1 and 5 years. The Fund invests by sampling the Index, meaning that it holds a range of securities that, in the aggregate, approximates the full Index in terms of key risk factors and other characteristics. All of the Funds investments will be selected through the sampling process, and at least 80% of the Funds assets will be invested in bonds included in the Index. The Funds investment advisor is Vanguard Fixed Income Group.
