Trinseo S.A. is a materials company engaged in the manufacture and marketing of emulsion polymers and plastics, including various specialty and technologically differentiated products. Its Plastics business unit includes its Styrenics segment and its Engineered Polymers segment. The Latex segment produces SB latex primarily for coated paper and packaging board, carpet and artificial turf backings, as well as a number of performance latex applications. The Synthetic Rubber segment produces synthetic rubber products used predominantly in tires, with additional applications in polymer modification and technical rubber goods. The Styrenics and Engineered Polymers segments offer plastics products with formulations developed for durable applications, such as consumer electronics, automotive and construction.
